Lev Mavashev is the Founder and Principal of Alpha Realty, a thriving real estate brokerage firm specializing in NYC multifamily properties. Lev is among the industry’s top tier professionals and considered one of the most active deal makers in the investment-sales market.

He’s a multi-year recipient of the CoStar Power Broker designation for the NYC multifamily market and most recently Sonoture recognized Mavashev with a Broker of the Year Award ranking him among the Top 10 Investment-Sales Brokers in New York City.

Mavashev is also an established thought leader with his market insights and expertise regularly reported by publications such as the Commercial Observer, The Real Deal, CoStar News, Real Estate Weekly, and the New York Real Estate Journal, while his notable transactions have been reported by the New York Times and Crain’s NY Business Journal. Additionally, he has been a recent guest at the CUNY TV’s Michael Stoler Report sharing his outlook and speaking about the changing multifamily market.

Prior to founding Alpha Realty, he was Managing Director at Besen & Associates in the Investment-Sales Group. In his role, he was very instrumental in helping the firm penetrate the Brooklyn multifamily market.

Lev began his career in Real Estate as a CPA with Deloitte & Touché LLP, providing financial analysis, consulting, and due diligence services to some of the world’s most prominent real estate companies, such as Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Tishman Speyer, and Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds.

Lev thrives on challenges and always bring a “win-win” attitude to every deal. He heads an elite group of brokers within his firm who have recently completed over $2.5 Billion in investment sales transactions, throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Lev is a graduate of Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business, where he received his BBA in Accounting & Economics, Magna Cum Laude Honors.
